Trionfo di Mahmood agli MTV EMA 2019

Il pubblico di Mtv ha incoronato come Best Italian Act degli Mtv Europe Music Awards 2019 Mahmood. Il vincitore di Sanremo 2019, che sempre quest’anno ha ottenuto anche il secondo posto ad Eurovision Song Contest, ha battuto Coez, Elodie, Elettra Lamborghini e Salmo.

A Mahmood, che ha sorpreso tutti a febbraio con la canzone Soldi, per poi partecipare all’Eurovision Song Contest con la stessa canzone, è andato il riconoscimento attribuito al miglior artista italiano dell’anno.  Delusione invece per Ariana Grande, in vetta alla lista della nomination con ben 7 categorie. Shawn Mendes ha vinto il premio Best Artist mentre la migliore canzone è quella di Billie Eilish con Bad Guy.
